![]() The screen is far better on the Cubes and the various controls and interactions are there to be explored. I found no adverse reactions to being left alone for a couple of days. If you remember the craze for Tamagotchi when figures needed constant interaction to avoid death and lots of parents spent their days keeping the Tamagotchi happy you will be relieved that no such work is required here. The cubes are all the same size at 4.5cm and the screen on the face is 2.5cm square. These cube people are stated as suitable for 8 years upwards but as a clue the front of the cube has a stick, dog, ball or rope to remind the younger people what their specialty is. Dodger is great with a ball, Slim does all sorts of acrobatics with a stick and Scoop has a dog.Īll Whips come in yellow cubes, all Scoops are in orange cubes, all Slims are in purple cubes and all Dodgers are in red cubes. Kinda wish they would do that for past expansions, though they don't have nearly as many cut scenes, but still. The really clever bit is that with no intervention from you they leave their own cube and move into another, Venetian blinds come down over the vacated cube and the two stick people indulge in games together such as baseball or a dance routine.Įach 'stick' has it's own speciality as examples Whip enjoys using a rope so skipping is one of it's hobbies. It wouldn't have been that hard to just have an NPC in our class halls we could go to like we had in our garrisons in WoD, that at least would have made more sense and been much more consistent. I get that blizz doesn't want them to be spammed repeatedly and people would abuse the toys, but this is just getting excessive and pointless and most people forget they even have half of this stuff because the CDs last so long that you don't get to use them enough to remember them. So, if you're like me and enjoy seeing some of the past cut scenes (like in WoD), you literally have to wait ten mins to play each and every one of them because the cube doesn't stay long enough to get through any of them. The CD on this one is only ten mins, but the first movie it shows you plays longer than the cube stays summoned. ![]() Blizz has GOT TO STOP with the ridiculously long cool downs on toys and related items. Another fun personal element.Ĭomment by JeoleneOk, seriously. >The confrontation between Warchief Sylvanas and Genn GreymaneĮDIT: It seems that the Cube allows you to re-live the memories which you have already witnessed in Legion. However the toy lasts for only around 5 minutes. Upon using the toy, you will deploy a cube with which you can interact and re-watch some cutscenes. The quest requires you to take it to the Archeology Trainer in Dalaran Then collect 300 Ancient Mana Then kill and loot the Mana Devourer from Return to Karazhan and then come talk to the Archeology Trainer again (Hand in the quest) which will then grant you a new quest to activate the cube and reward you with the item. A few raid members got it in Heroic, and some didn't, which indicates that it's a personal RNG drop. However nobody had said they had gotten a drop in Normal, so I cannot speak if it drops on Normal or not. Please add more if you can view others not listed here.Ĭomment by BeWastedI can confirm that the Mysterious Cube drops off of the new Nighthold boss Chronomatic Anomaly. The confrontation between Warchief Sylvanas and Genn Greymane The cube's on use will place the cube on the ground where players can interact with it to view various Legion cinematics for 3 minutes with a 10 minute cooldown. The Mysterious Cube does not seem to be 100% drop rate as about half of our raid got it when we killed Chronomatic Anomaly tonight on Normal mode. ![]() The questline requires players to take it to Dalaran, Cubic Conundrum, where they will give 300 Ancient Mana, Cubic Currents, then be given a quest to loot the Mana Focus from the Mana Devourer in Karazhan, Return to Karazhan: Cubic Cynosure.Īfter doing this and returning to Dalaran, a new quest will be given, Cubic Coalescing, where you go upstairs and activate the cube. Comment by AlumirusA toy from the quest-line started by Mysterious Cube which drops from Chronomatic Anomaly.
